Re: Doctors warn of hot summer heatstrokes

Yes, swimming pools are useless unless you're lucky enough to have it in full shade. Cold showers are useless as the water is pre-heated by the hot PVC pipes in the ground. My full cold at the moment must be around 32c. Full Aircon day and night may bankrupt you, as I can attest. The best ma...

Re: Football (not Premier League)

Leicester are of course the King Power people and wealthy Thai family left over from their glory days. They'll go up, but if they come back down rapidly I would think we'll see a change in ownership. The only player I know is Vardy, and he's getting old!

Re: Football (not Premier League)

I'm actually finding this countdown to the end fun in the Championship, both top and bottom of the league. Less drama and histrionics than the Premier league. :thumb:

Edit: Plus it's not filled with half a million dollar per week people who can't seem to play football?!

Re: Doctors warn of hot summer heatstrokes

It's age. I've been getting worse with it each year the past several. Today I've been out all of once to get a package. The dog doesn't even want to go out!

Re: Football (not Premier League)

Plymouth went down 3-0 to Stoke which is not good. That leaves them at 48 points. Not totally safe yet I don't think.

They have Millwall on the 27th and Hull on May 4. To be sure of things they really need to win one of those.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24

Ratchaburi didn't do so well this week, but they were up against the league leaders. It seems that Buriram are the perpetual league leaders year in and year out.

DB, what kind of marks would you give your MG? I think you are about 2 year into ownership now? Are you as positive as KhunLA seems to be?

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

When you buy an EV does it come with a charging wire (Length?), the male end insert, and the needed base box/parts that you can have an electrician install on your house. If not, does the dealer sell them as "accessories"?
