Is swampi the new airport? I found the old airport pretty good for getting past customs. i've no interest in going into Bangkok for any amount of shut eye, we did it the last 2 times and it was painful.

whats the cheapest going rate for a room in one of these big hotels?
i'd much rather just pay for 1 night in a cheap place then get a nice guest house the next day!

I'm traveling from sydney and arrive in Bangkok at 11.15pm and don't want to hang around in the city. I'm looking for a place to crash for the night in Hua Hin on the night\early morning i arrive. I know its a 3 hr drive from Bangers and thats sweet.
