Cha-Am Beach Villa, on the Beachroad. I use it only to go online. Never stayed there, looks good, and WLAN for free. From Narathip Road just left, about 300 meter. From their website, there are no rates listed. I've already written them. Any idea of rates please? Thank you. chaamvillahotel dot com

I've heard the Thais pay 300 baht for a taxi. I am thinking of Cha Am over HH for reasons unknown. I guess after living in Pattaya a crazy 4 years now, I'm dying for a change to something peaceful maybe even more peaceful than HH.

Thank you for all your replies. KK bank issues a debit card with each account that has all the markings of a credit card. Would this be sufficient? I ask because I have no credit card and don't want to be limited with my Thai account in anyway. Thank you.
