Thanks OscarMike very informative, I can't wait till the New Year and I return to the Land Of Smiles and to spend at least a couple of weeks in Hua Hin.

The last time I was in Hua Hin you could pick a girl up at one or two bars down Soi Binthabat. Typically Tropical you say you can pick a girl up at the Hilton, are they high class hookers or is it where the bar girls go after the bars shut down, but surely the Hilton would close it's bars at 2am als...

Can anyone walk into the Hilton Hotel and order a drink, and can you take a bar girl in to impress her ?
To be able to have a drink in an Hilton Hotel wow. (Obviously I don't get out much).

What am I looking for, well loud music is always good for me, I'm not a big conversationalist, western rock, live or piped and a few dancing girls to watch, and no I don't want to go to Pattaya or stay in Bangkok oh nearly forgot a nice cool Chang or Singh would be good.

Returning to Hua Hin early next year after a 2 year break, been going down to Koh Samui. So where are the best bars now days, The Happy Toro was ok a couple of years ago ? Your thoughts please.

Guys I'm trying to get a feel for Hua Hin before my hols and create a bit of discussion and stating the f****** obvious is of no help, girls well yes of course Bangkok and Pattaya but don't try and make out that Hua Hin is the virginal city ...

From a previous post, Luknam seems a good place to go for traditional Thai music. What I want to know now from other members is the ultimate night out. I want to take in half a dozen establishments, I want to eat, drink and have a good time and maybe pick up the best looking Thai girl in Hua Hin. So...

Having spent only a week earlier this year in Hau Hin my problem was the complete opposite. I struggled to find varied activities at night, where are all the live music bars and where does everybody go besides the girlie bars.
