I hope they have better luck than the last guy they promised citizenship to along with scholarship when he was the darling one. Still waiting, OK, gave up, after about 9 years.

Re: Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Lucky so far, and only vendor that was a problem, and my last choice to use, Global House. All the rest, chains have been very good. Same with my online 'go to' vendors. Lazada and Banggood, along with eBay. Gearworst and TomTop, refunds via PayPal claims. AliExpress, a couple of their vendors faile...

Re: Power Washing of Concrete Required

Tesco had one that looked similar to that on offer the other day for under 2,000 Baht. Mine is the FASA 'EXCEL' model, and about 10+k baht. 80 or 130 bar pressure. It will peel your skin off in not careful, so when washing the car, make sure proper wand is used, or you'll take the paint off. I've u...

Re: Power Washing of Concrete Required

Could just pick up a pressure washer, at one of the DIY shops. I have a Fasa, I think, Italian made and standing up to the test of time, about 10 yrs now. Then you can even wash the car easier. Great for getting the scooter nooks and crannys. Has 2 wands, one for blasting, one for vehicle washing. C...

Re: Tops Supermarket in Hua Hin?

HH has Villa Markets and market @ BluPort. Both pretty sad. Krung Thep .... Gourmet Markets or a 'good' Tops so much better than what HH has to offer. A good Tops, certainly wouldn't hurt, and hopefully better than the market at BluPort or VM. Makro, about as good as it gets, and reasonably priced i...

Re: First execution for 9 years in Thailand

Yes, amazing how after executed, now someone says he was innocent, of course a lawsuit to follow with compensation possibly to be shared......555 Destroys all credibility of the witness. Know the guy well enough to tell him to leave the area, but let him rot in jail for years.....555 I did read 'the...

Re: Big C, Pre Cooked Chickens

My eggs don't last a week (10 pack). 2-3 weeks, no thanks, prefer 'fresh'. If past a week, then they become hard boiled. Along with me making eggnog, with fresh raw eggs quite often, along with ice-cream, but that don't count, since frozen. I like my scrambled eggs 'loose', so far from cooked entire...

Re: Big C, Pre Cooked Chickens

I used to do deliveries to restaurants in the USA, and was surprised about state of the kitchen in the highly rated, very popular ones. Some were just gross.

Quite contrary to 5* = good hygiene.

Re: Car Breakers?

It seems 'junk yards' aren't a big thing here. Possibly because inexpensive clone body parts are readily available. Used mechanical parts, not too sure of, but since nothing goes to waste here, thinking most keep for later re-cycling into theirs or someone they know's next vehicle. I know in the USA...

Re: Big C, Pre Cooked Chickens

I think many people have become overly obsessed with food hygiene. And, the even bigger irony here is that many of those who preach about food hygiene, and ridicule the Thais for their lack of food hygiene, gladly eat food which has been cooked and prepared in places that pay very little attention ...
