Re: Saatsin School aka Halio School

IMO this school is offering the best education (not just in Hua Hin) at an affordable price. The school is full of happy children keen to learn and importantly staffed by teachers who are educators who unlike other schools in this area actually listen and encourage curiosity and self thinking.

Re: Biggest power outage ever in Thailand hits 14 provinces

Dude. Solar panels are the answer. IF excess power is fed into the grid the electricity company would have many small power suppliers generating cheap electricity for them. Allowing them to maybe sell excess themselves to Myanmar for example.

Re: Biggest power outage ever in Thailand hits 14 provinces

Why not promote solar power in homes with excess/unusable able to be fed back into the grid?
Maybe too easy?
Solar panels and associated equipment is not so expensive as in the past and the system is widely used in Europe including the UK-Famous for its year round sunshine.

Re: Sick father-in-law

There is a pharmacy/old age appliance shop just past the Thai tourist attraction nearly opposite Index. They stock powdered food supplements. I bought some food to tube feed my father in law from there recently.

Re: "A curry a day keeps the doc away" .....perhaps

Maybe more than one variety. Regular turmeric can temporarily stain the skin. Kasturi turmeric (curcuma aromatica) is non-staining and has the same properties for clearing acne, inhibiting facial hair growth and brightening the complexion. It is not edible and therefore not used for cooking and shou...
