Flood in Thailand

Hi
We read about the flood in Thailand & wonder how bad it is. We're arriving Bangkok on Thursday & going to HH on Friday, so some local updates would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Thai arts

Thanks. It's the outdoor sculptures I'm looking for - couldn't find a word for them :o) There are so many shops selling them & I find they're asking quite high prices for them. I'm wondering if anyone in the forum know of a shop they can recommend. We're still very new in HH and are relying on t...

Thai arts

Hi. Everywhere I see Thai arts in the form of moulded from cement or similar. You can get them with various motives - animals, flowers, Thai cultures, etc., as well as colours but I like them natural. I'd like to get some of them for our house, but I think the prices asked by the shops in HH are qui...

Banks in Hua Hin

Hi
Any of you have experience with a bank in Hua Hin that has web or net bank facilities? We're thinking in terms of easy online bank transfer from overseas bank. We're also considering about paying bills (electricity, water, etc.) online.

Would appreciate any advice - for and against. Thanks.

Shopping for furniture

Hi
We just bought a house in Soi 102 and it needs to be furnished. Can anyone recommend a furniture shop that's reasonably priced, and can deliver immediately?

Thanks.

Hua Hin Hill Village

Hi
Do anyone know about the development? I think this is the 2nd development along Soi 102, with the first one nearby. If so, can you please share your knowledge with us? Thanks.

Need help with house buying

My husband & I are planning to buy a holiday home in Hua Hin, and hope to get some useful advice and guidance from some experienced members who've tried it. Our first question is estate agents. We've been on the net and found some really nice properties that we're really interested in. But how d...
