SJ,
I think the bigger problem is the direction the planes have to approach and take off from, and the security/noise implications for Hua Hin's most famous resident.

Korkenzieher, I have read comments like yours, critical of food and beverage establishments, before on this forum, and my response is always the same - why have you not approached the owner/manager at the time (or later if they weren't there) about your concerns, rather than anonymously slating the ...

The Dude, I think the dollar is as high as it ever will be from now on, unless something drastic happens to the baht. In recent years the dollar and the pound have gone in different directions against the baht - when one goes up the other goes down, which suggests to me that the baht is still unoffi...

Sorry to take this on a bit of a tangent, but as far as the punishments go it really depends on what you are trying to achieve with them. The death penalty prevents reoffending completely. Long jail terms (if served) also achieve this but there is a small chance of reoffending on release. If the aim...

I think what others have said, a dispute over something involving the bar and a soldier is most likely, but the thought did occur to me that it might have been the soldiers taking offence at the bar being open and serving alcohol on the King's Birthday? As it was only liquor bottles being smashed is...

I think I would vote for either Jessica Ennis (won the World Heptathlon gold) or David Haye, purely because they are both in punishing disciplines that are extremely hard to get to the top in (not saying the others are easy but in comparison), as well as being less well known because of the coverage...

There is an official Samsung place just north of Index Living mall on the same side; they were quite helpful when I went there, so I would suggest going there first.

Just touching on the bars moving issue, agree with WL's post but spoke to an established Thai karaoke bar owner, those that go will all know her, she said they having to close at 2am cos Sofitel complaining about the noise, killing business. Can't see Sofitel giving up on that one, its more than yo...
