Re: Thank so much again!

The people watching venues certainly sound interesting! Beer, food and entertainment, sweeeet :P Thanks again! Hey CG, my personal favourite people watching place in town is Onn Onn Corner Bar. Good view of the main walking junction in Town, just an open restaurant but decent little place ...

Just arrived

Hi all, Thanks again for all the helpful insight. I just rolled into town last night after quite an adventure getting from Pattaya to Hua Hin. I would not recommend to anyone to take the bus from the Southern bus station in Bangkok. It takes forever, stopping constantly along the way to pick-up and ...

OK, I'm convinced!

Alright, I am more than convinced that I will not die from boredom in HH. I am also convinced that I will have a blast! I greatly enjoyed reading about all of the positive experiences and am very glad that I opted to spend the majority of the next trip in HH, instead of my usual destinations of Bkk ...

Thank so much again!

Hi guys, Thank you very much again for the very helpful insight! Ensuring I hit the ground running and not waste time at the less than ideal locations, or trying to find the more fitting places, is somewhat of an obsession of mine. Equally so is my (we'll call it a hobby) always wanting to find the ...

I can live with that

Thanks for the insight!

I could certainly live with paying 65-70 baht a beer for a nicer environment and experience :)

I'll have to check out U-Turn :P

Too bad the old saying wasn't "Free your mind and the beer will follow" :P

Thanks again!

Current prices - How do they compare?

Hi guys, After sifting through all of the posts in this section I have developed some sense of the bar scene in HH. Having never been to HH, I am curious as to how the current prices compare to those in Pattaya (a place I have been many times). I have found that there are always a number of bars in ...

Is 1 month too long of a stay in Hua Hin?

Hi, I've been combing these forums trying to determine if a 1 month stay in Hua Hin is too long. That is, will I be bored out of my mind? I have been to Bangkok and Pattaya many times, but never Hua Hin. I am quite tired of both Bkk and Patts, and welcome a change. I am not much of a monger and pref...
