Hello

Thanks so much for all your help!

Are there any more hotels in the same area as Kaban Tamor? We like the idea of being a bit out of the hustle and bustle but near enough to taxi in for the evening.

Thanks again.

Thanks Buksida! That hotel looks amazing!! We quite fancy train travel as a way of seeing some of Thailand. We flew everywhere last time and on top of feeling like we spent a lot of our holiday at airports, we felt we missed so much of the country. I see there is a train from bangkok to chiang mai a...

Advice please!

Hello! :P My boyfriend and I are getting married in Chiang Mai next year and are planning the rest of our trip at the moment. This will be our second trip to Thailand and we like the idea of spending the honeymoon part of our trip in Hua Hin. We are looking for a place that offers some traditional T...

Great advice! Thanks. As far as we're concerned we're raring to go and have all the boxes ticked. The practicalities are to be worked on and the only real decision is the dogs. I guess we'll know more once we've been out again in Novemebr.

Thanks! :D

Dogs!

Hello! :D I'm new to the boards and in the early stages of planning a move to Thailand. I have been getting lots of great friendly advice on the introduction board. One of our big debates is about our dogs and bringing them with us. Has anyone moved out and taken dogs? I can't bear the thought of le...

Thanks Lomuamart! Appreciate that, the less money we spend on lawyers the more money we get to live on once we get there so that really helps! I'm hoping to get a job teaching and will probably try and get one before I get there (more peace of mind for me to be honest). I've found one website that h...

Hi  Thank you again for all of your fab advice. I'm going to print out what you've said about VISAs and take some time reading and digesting it. I'll hit the VISA forum if I've still got concerns after that. Some of you mentioned Hull and I wondered if that would be the best way to arrange VIS...

Wow! Thanks for the replies and er the warnings!!!! Lol. Some of them made me smile :P . My other half will enter on a retirement VISA and I'll enter on a one year VISA and hopefully teach. One of my questions was how do you cope with the border trips to renew VISAs every 90 days? Is it a real hassl...

Hello!

Hello! I am new to this board and fabulous website!! We are in the early stages of planning a move to Thailand and have identified Hua Hin as one of the places we'd like to move to. Never having done anything like this before it's a bit daunting but it's been a lifelong dream. Following redundancy a...
