Re: The 90 Day Report Thread

The online application seems to be working better this year than last year. My first application in February 2025 was approved. Now I received an email stating that notification is due on May 25. I applied online at 9 a.m. this morning and received approval at 10 a.m.

Re: TM6 entry form/Thailand Digital Arrival Card

I just checked it at https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card.
And you can't list Thailand as your country of residence. So what?

Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income

Big Boy, did you get a new TIN number or were you able to use the number from your pink ID card?

Re: Bolt ride hailing app

For longer journeys it is cheaper to ask one of the many taxi companies in Hua Hin

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread

Big surprise. In 2023, all my applications were approved. In 2024, all my applications were rejected. In 2025, I submitted my first application today and it was approved today. I've always done the same thing, so what happened last year?

No mention of where it starts in Hua Hin and the website doesn't allow you to book anything from Hua Hin

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

My friend wanted to switch from the income scheme to a deposit and was told that the money had to be there for 12 months (in his case it was only 11 months). I don't know if this is also valid for an extension.

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread

My online application was rejected again, the fourth time this year, but last year it was approved four times and this year I did the same. Today I went to Blueport and they couldn't tell me the reason why. At 11am there were about 20 people waiting, so I got it after 30 minutes of waiting.

Re: Bolt ride hailing app

Bolt also allows you to pay for the ride with your card. I was in Chiang Mai and took a Bolt taxi to the airport for 83 baht, while Grab would have charged 180 baht for the same ride.

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

Yes, that's what I thought too. But a new rule says that there must always be at least 400,000 baht in the account. Maybe that's why it was rejected.

Re: 'How To' - Requirements for visa extensions etc

My friend switched from income to deposit. He deposited 800,000 baht into the bank account in January 2024. This week he went to the immigration office to apply for the one-year extension and was rejected because the money must be in the account for 12 months. I have never heard of such a thing befo...

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread

On the 13th, the email came saying “We have successfully received your information” and 6 days later the rejection “Your application for “STAY LONGER THAN 90 DAYS” has been rejected”.
