Re: Inversion tables

Can anyone help me please? I have been told by my chiropractor in Bangkok (Dr Don) that you can purchase an Inversion table in one of the big shopping malls in Bangkok - Siam, Central, Central World, etc but he doesn't know where and nor does anyone on thaivisa. It is a stretcher set on an A frame....

Re: Televisions

3D in thailand ? i dont think so ! At the moment there is only 1 HD channel and that is reputedly not showing real HD TV, but stretched normal stuff. If UBC cant be bothered with HD, then there will be no need for a 3D ready TV until the price has come down to peanuts. UBC max definition is 576 * 4...

Re: Televisions

One thing I don't think has been mentioned, buy 100hz, far superior to 50 hz, 200hz sets are now available but the improvement is much less than 50-100. I am looking for a new set and as I like to watch a lot of sport I will buy plasma due to the better response times, unfortunately the Panasonic m...

Re: Premier League 2010-2011

Cesc Fabregas has confirmed he is staying with Arsenal for the new Premier League season. HERE i'm pleased but also sceptical about the whole charade :| there are differing angles for both the player & the clubs. there's no doubt that he wanted to go 'home' & i think if barca had made a dec...

LCD, LED, PLASMA. Best type and best brands for each? Longevity and reliability/picture quality most important. Crazy 88 For picture quality the plasmas are still superior and especially so the Panasonic's V-series that uses Pioneer's patented technology. The new plasmas also draws less power than ...

Re: Rent Condo Hua Hin (Condo Chain & VIP)

The best way is just to visit the condo you fancy and talk to the people at the reception. They can normally show you the apartments and tell you whether there are any vacancies. However, I doubt you will find any decent condos here in Hua Hin for 8,000 baht a month for a one year's rental agreement...

Re: How much would it cost to live in Thailand (HH) for one

IMO one needs around 100,000 a month for a family if one wants to live a comfortable western lifestyle here in Hua Hin. The more Thai to the lifestyle, the cheaper it will be.

Re: Swedish restaurants up for sale

That's sad to hear about Cajutan (converted home on Soi 88/1, just before Market Village Mall going north). The owners are running another restaurant in Sweden during the European summer time. Last year's low season they were open for dinner only but sadly not many customers. Cajutan is indeed a ve...

Re: Blue-ray

There is one blue-ray that is outstanding on the market today and that is OPPO and their new model BDP-83SE. This player plays BD-Video, DVD-Video, AVCHD, DVD-Audio, SACD, CD, HDCD, Kodak Picture CD, CD-R/RW, DVD±R/RW, DVD±R DL, BD-R/RE. It is a bit pricey but the sound quality is superb and even be...

Re: TV Purchase in Hua Hin

The flat TV brand that is known to have a systematic problem is the LG that has problems with its PWM (Pulse With Modulation) power supplies, this according to my friend, an engineer guru the trade.
