Re: 2025 F1 News and Prediction League

And lovely to see you VS! And please do whatever is required to impede "Parahandy" Wonderful indeed to see Mercedes on the Podium (x 2) and an incredible race from both... Pity the Dire Dutchman also gained a Podium and points (Ho Hum   ). Would be interesting to see/hear opini...

Oh, no need DM... No need at all, why bring a furry one into it?! :tsk: :butt:

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

Then again, let's look at the biggest suppliers and biggest polluters on a another scale. Still happy to buy Chinese to save the world?!! OK, it's not just EVs, but it's a big part of things from China, including Solar Panels and charging stations that you rely on. Let's not attempt to get into Micr...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

I’m guessing that photo is a few years old Steve? I worked in Saudi 20 years ago and driving through the Eastern Province this was a familiar sight. Although I believe it still goes on (as a safety measure) moves have been made in recent years to reduce the incidence of “flare-off”, so hopefully th...

Re: 2025 F1 News and Prediction League

Well, that didn't go to plan for many!! I truly wish I held more faith in Mercedes for this race - Russell looked good throughout the weekend, but I must admit I didn't expect Kimi to get a place on the Podium... Fair play to them both!! A 1 and 3 for Mercedes :thumb: Whilst celebrating a cracking w...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

Again, I'm not anti EV, but have major concerns over the production of critical components and the countries/governments who care far less for the environment over financial gain. EVs are far from the wonder "Green Card" in my book. Race to Mine Metals for EV Batteries Threatens Marine Par...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

^There’s bound to be a period of intense competition that many companies won't survive. It was the same in the early days of petrol car production, in the start of the 1920s there were over 180 manufacturers in the UK alone and the vast majority of them fell by the wayside. I don't think there's an...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

^Yes, I agree about the massive government support but why isn't the west promoting the future? There's many questions to be asked of certain governments at the moment that's for sure. looks like Neta is in big trouble Can't say I'd ever heard of them, but looking them up, it certainly does look li...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

^ I would hope their safety/security record is a tad better than their phones.

It does however go to show the advantage that Chinese companies have over their Western counterparts. "Technological Thievery" and massive Government support seems to pay off.

Re: 2025 F1 News and Prediction League

^ Will be interesting to see if the layout of the Madrid track is actually confirmed/approved in time! I'm a bit concerned it's going to be more of a "Procession Type Street Circuit" than the promised exciting "Hybrid Circuit" .... Anywho... To Round 10 and the Canadian GP :thumb...
