Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
A sign of a drop in the EV market, or a sign that (government subsidised) Chinese EV producers have cornered the market? Re: Premier League 2023-24
Definitely looks like City’s title after yesterday’s results - at this stage of the season City are normally at their strongest so I’d be amazed if they don’t go on to lift the title!! At the other end, the third relegation spot still seems to be between Everton, Forrest and Luton, with Everton in ...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
Harry Kane made the wrong decision then, instead of a club switch he should have gone for a gender switch and he might have got that elusive silverware [emoji1787]

Re: The journey to a Yellow Book in Hua Hin
When I renewed my driving licence a few months ago they accepted the yellow book, so no need to get a letter from immigration

Re: Premier League 2023-24
Just seen one of the most bizarre goal conceded by Burnley - the goalkeeper completely fluffing a back pass and allowing the ball to creep over the line - different circumstances but the goalie was also responsible for conceding a goal against Everton last week - it’s things like this that will send...

Re: The journey to a Yellow Book in Hua Hin
You can definitely live here without either but there are some advantages of them - for one the ID card is typically accepted as proof of identity and is credit card size so easily fits in a wallet, so no need to carry your passport. I also use the yellow book at Immigration as proof of address as I...

The journey to a Yellow Book in Hua Hin
I got mine done in Cha Am some years ago, so I don’t recall all of the details but it was very easy and I didn’t have to go to Bangkok and fairly certain not even immigration (although I could be wrong there) - as you mention, I also got a pink ID card at the same time. Songkran 2024 Road Accidents
Interesting that the Chiangraitimes report talks about deaths on Wednesday whereas the Thaipbsworld report mentions Thursday - perhaps we’re looking at different days?

Re: Songkran 2024 Road Accidents
Two separate reports indicate 60 deaths, so that’s probably closer to the truth than the one claiming 25!!
