You can use Skype on your mobile, as long as you have a wi-fi enabled phone. That's what I do when abroad. Stay in a hotel with wi-fi or walk in to a coffee shop or pub with wi-fi and call abroad free ;)

The best player in my opinion is the KmPlayer.

Plays any media type, quite small/not heavy on resources and has a lot of functions you can change for your own liking and on top of it's completely free :)

I agree with Buksi's points as well as Sandman's. However there are more complicated issues at play when it comes to understanding Thais in social and business life. I have to admit after running a business for the last 8 years dealing with Thai businesses from bottom to top levels, there are still ...

How effective do you think will it be Buski? Can they do it convincingly like China? Or is it just wishful thinking at the Ministry of Grand Plans? Having the equipment is one thing administering is another. There are other countries doing it in a very strict way (Middle East) but they hav...

Definitely a local ISP problem, I tried to open TIGR's link and had the same screen.

I am on CAT - Business (2,700B/m) package and tried it on proxguy, and this works.

Here is the link: XXXXXXXXX

I hope this helps.

Nothing to do being foreigner or Thai, as long as you have an account in Kasikorn you are eligible. Since it's not a credit card - only an online payment/debit card - it doesn't matter how active or big your account is either. You can even overcome the 5,000 USD monthly withdrawals from PayPal by op...
