Re: Furniture, kitchen,bedroom,livingroom

Regarding AC: Big Kiang is very good. Regarding furniture: Dont do the easy way and only go to Index and Market Village. They ar OK, but not special. Look for some others, there is some "thai looking" shops north of centrum with very good quality. If you want somthing nice and special, go ...

Re: House Insurance..

We changed from Bangkok Insurance to a company recomended by AA Insurance Brokers. The insurance had better covering for the most important purposes and was cheaper. I strongly recomed AA Brokers.

Re: Management companies

It was not my intention to break any rules, but we still have a challenge in our villages to get the service delivery organised. Therefore, any suggestion or recomandation to companies etc who can help us are heartedly welcome. Give me a PM if necessary, please!

Re: Golfclub membership, season ticket, etc.

I will suggest Tanarat Golfclub in Pranburi (inside the military camp). It is cheaper then most of the courses around Hua Hin. Not so high standard, but OK.
If you can accept a even lower standard, but very picturesque souroundings, go to Sam Roy Yod or Dolphin Bay. You pay only 30 bath for the wagon.

The problems seems to be wellknown and we have more or less had the same experince. I am not an expert, and you have allready got some advices. I am quite sure you will get a...

Re: Noiseless aircondition

Thanks to both of you! We did the cleaning last year, but compared to those we have in Norway (for heating) the noise is pretty high. We also used Big Kiang then and had the same experience. Very qiuck, serviceminded and not expencive.
I think we buy new ones next time we go to HH!
