Re: It is generally better to be the giver than the reciever
Sargeant, I am not up to speed on your posts in this thread, my guesses are: 1. Mr P had warned you of danger based on your post in the 30,000 baht/mth or other threads? 2. Mr P had hinted that you needed detox (I cannot recall seeing anything lke this)? 3. I am completely off-target and have not go...

Re: It is generally better to be the giver than the reciever
The spate of murders and other issues reported in this forum, including Sargent's; letting the other half control the purse strings subsequently followed by house sold from underneath me in different threads (did wish you goodluck but seems as usual good wishes do not really help), did prompt my bet...

Thank you Lev, my error, I am new to the forum and did not know the acceptable limits that you have now clarified and I will respect in the future.

It is generally better to be the giver than the reciever
I do not know if this is the correct place for this post or the correct title for it, but here goes. Life (fullstop). Is a continuing challange for survival that principally relies on being aware of and adapting to your actual situation. To get back to the title and its' relevance to Hua Hinians and...

Re: MSG
+1 for Mr Plums post, our world is certainly no 'garden of eden' if it ever was, and doing many things our recent ancestors did now have much worse outcomes than they did for them. In fact the US armed services databank (100,000's of individuals for about 300 years) suggests that those who drank and...

Re: Outdoor furniture, pot & plants retailers in Cha-am?
Hi MorSage, yes can help. Have just recently purchased several large plants from a garden centre between Palm hills and Chaam. Guessing I would say the place is about a third of the way from PH to Chaam on the LHS going from PH to CA. There are several on this stretch but the one we used seemed the...

Re: MSG
MSG has a generally undeserved bad reputation and is found in large concentrations in most high protein foods, this is not to say it is without hazards for some individuals. Most individuals who believe they are MSG sensitive when tested (and researched) if blindly given MSG have NO reaction to it!!...

Re: seeking the good oil for massages
Cold pressed sweet almond or apricot kernel oils are excellent but expensive, virgin coconut (as recommended above) and olive oil (add scent - i.e. essential flower oils) are also good and more reasonable cost wise. Always avoid baby oil (liquid parrifin) and rancid cooking oils (aged; soy, safflowe...

Re: Can someone just set up a legal office?
In Thailand they have a saying 'rules are meant to be bent' so providing 'legal services' particularly to foreigners is wide open to exploitation with a lot of leeway for technical details to get lost in translation. A massage parlour acting as a registered office / address for a law firm though wou...

darwinian maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong, time will tell. I think detoxification needs pretty much relies on what you fancy. Mr Plum, the following are data-bases that you may find useful, many of these are not free but do provide full-text articles that are really needed to understand wha...
