Re: Hi all

Unfortunately more than 80% of users in this forum DO NOT LIVE in Hua Hin year around. They maybe have a house or condo here and visit some months during winter time. Then they think they know all what happens here. Pathetic, really.

Re: Hi all

How can You tell if you promote some good restaurant on any service. If you find one and would like to tell people about that, is it acceptable or not?

Re: Fireworks company in Hua Hin?

And, as Jimmy40 mentioned there are many small shops selling these in that area. Just after tailors. Some sell only from street outside, with a better price, I think.

Re: Fireworks company in Hua Hin?

Sorry to be a little bit late for this post. Yes, fireworks are allowed everywhere when some big things happens. I had a really big fireworks in Kata Beach without any celebration two years ago? Now it is New Year to come, and I really dont hesitate to make a big bang at 24:00 in Hua Hin. Not happen...

Re: Train hit car at Soi 94 today

I'll probably get flamed for this one...but there is the possibility the driver was going too fast and could not stop in time, despite having the speed bumps before the crossing. I have on numerous occasions slowed down for the bumps at other rail crossings and seen both cars and motorcycles overta...

Re: Train hit car at Soi 94 today

Look fellas; If you want to play it safe bring you car to a full stop, roll down you windows, look and listen for the train. If you are in doubt, get your butt out of the car and take a closer look. Not rocket science. And you stay alive. Exactly! My point is that You have to drive near to railway ...

Re: Train hit car at Soi 94 today

One more point about this issue. Those stop signs are too far away from actual railway. If there is plenty vegetation, you can not see the train approaching the crossing at that stop point. They should have positioned at least three meters closer to the railway to have any benefit. I believe that it...

Re: Train hit car at Soi 94 today

I don't know what went wrong this time, but sometimes it can just be a lack of concentration. You might be thinking totally something else than driving and you forget where you are and what to do. Whatever was the reason, this is very very sad. There is a stop sign before crossing, but very few actu...
