Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I truely hope it works itself out so I can move there :) I think you'd be far better off in Bangkok and giving Hua Hin a complete miss. From reading a few of your post's you will surely find a far better class of people in Bangkok to suit you and your wife's needs....
