Re: Phantom For Sale

I still cant work out how resize the photo files on the ipad :banghead: , so I will try to describe it..... It is the "classic" Phantom; black tank, seat and guards, chrome covers under the tank and seat. I've owned it since new, it's been regularly serviced, I haven't dropped it - althoug...

*Sold* Phantom For Sale

I am reluctantly retiring my 2006 Phantom. It has served me well for 22600 kms, but is now in need of a new home. I would like 52500 ono for it. Interested? Call me on 08 703 777 31 to arrange a meet and view. I would like to add some photos, it's all clean, straight, black and chrome shiny. But, un...

Re: Big Moving Truck

These trucks advertise all over the place. The street sign by our local 7/11 is plastered with their phone numbers - all in Thai and you will probably need a Thai speaker to deal with them. A couple of numbers;

Good luck with the move.

Re: Chainlubricant

I managed to buy a spray-pack of Sonax - http://www.sonax.com/Product-Search/%28node%29/12974/339505-SONAX-MoS2Oil-NanoPro - chain lube from the Suzuki dealer on Petchkasam Road. Took a bit of mime work and pointing to explain what I wanted, but worth it in the end. BTW according to google translate...

Re: Missing helmet at Hua Hin motorbike shop

You're right dtaai-maai. Maybe that was a bit of a broad generalization. Perhaps I should have said that in this particular shop, if you want to leave a helmet in their safekeeping you should personally hand it to one of the mechanics and make sure he acknowledges that it is now his personal respons...

Missing helmet at Hua Hin motorbike shop

I took one of my motorbikes to the Yamaha shop on Phetkasem Road yesterday. The red place, where the mechanics wear Honda shirts, and the two brothers seem to know what they’re doing. As usual I mimed the problem with the bike, used the words car-ber-etta, and gas-o-lene several times, then left the...

Re: Information on V Bar (was up2u bar)

Mat, don't let them get you down. I still laugh whenever I see the "expert" postings about how much business I was doing with Lolitas. Good luck with the bar, I'll be in for a drink soon.

Just to confuse the issue further, I also run Lolitas ! (Yes, it's my fault, blame me..... :twisted: ) Now that that's cleared up; Rod Sears went back to England when he sold the shed, wanted to bring his new baby up in a "better" environment. Rod from Goannas / Lolitas / the shop next doo...

Foto, I guess it depends on who you talk to at Imm. and what visa you already have. I had to fill in one form to get a re-entry permit for my Non-Imm B, permit in passport stamped as "USED" when I returned from Aus, but I didn't report to HH Imm. until 6 weeks later. The date of my trip wa...
