"Absolutely unnecassary. Beer brings him out in blotches and causes a mild stomach complaint. A carton of Dorset carrot juice would go down well."

I liked your barely h...

Many thanks to Wanderlust. A very comprehensive and helpful answer. If we do move out there, which seems likely, I owe you a beer.

I am planning another trip for a few weeks to Hua Hin in the first quarter of 2006 and wondered if this festival h...

Are we getting this out of context?

Oh dear! I must admit that I find the way this thread is going rather bemusing – everyone seems to be getting very, very defensive about their own relationships because one person or group of people has had the ‘audacity’ to come out and say what the vast majority of Westerners would think! (given m...

Some element of truth here!

I can’t say that I agree with everything that Alligator1999 says but I do strongly agree that any man who chooses to marry or even have sex with a girl that looks underage [ edited by Admin ]

In the UK we have to pay council tax to pay for services (rubbis...

Banned pain killers in Thailand?

Recently it was in the news that a woman was arrested in Dubia for having traces of a well known pain killer in her blood stream. She took the pain killers for her back pain whilst still in England but as the pain killer was still in her system at the airport and contained what is banned ingredients...
