This has been covered a lot on the Thaivisa forum, but they seem to have some very bitter people there - so assuming that in HHAD everyone is sane and not bitter through personal experience, if the answer is no - why not? Is it not possible to have the house in your name and the land in the wife's, ...

This is my 1st day back in the UK (sadly, flight got me in at 05.00 this morning) after 17 days in LOS, most spent in HH. We stayed at the Puangpen or PP Villa Hotel (excellent value) and travelled around the whole area looking at properties as well as just relaxing. There is a lot of development, b...

I've just checked and I'm now in the HH league as well.

Interestingly, I was also entered into the Lampard mini-league, no idea how or why.

Was there a meet yesterday? If so, I seemed to have missed you guys. I got to the Shed bar at about 13.40 and the 2 girls behind the bar just didn't get my questions! I know you talked about another meeting place but for the life of me I couldn't remember where? Never mind - I just had Saturday afte...

Adaptor plug

Does anyone know where I can get a UK to thai adaptor plug for shaver, tootbrush & mobile? Voltage not an issue. On the last visit the hotel helped me out but can't rely on that. I tried 7/11 last time with no joy.

Thanks :)

This just shows why this site is so useful!!!

I had wondered if the shed bar had anything to do with Chelsea, and now I've found out about a place that is GF/wife friendly and is owned by a Chelsea fan - paradise!

Now I know its the big birthday bash tonight and I hope everyone has a great night, but Saturday week (6/8) finds me in HH again, are you okay wit...

I'm not offended, what happened was that I was told I couldn't post a message so soon after the 1st one - the poll - so I waited a bit and sent it again and surprise, surprise, the 1st one was there after all! Oh well. Farang owes me a beer for when I'm next in HH!!!

1st visited in 2000, been back 3 times since. I'm pretty well travelled and do you know what it felt like to realise that I had finally found the place I was looking for? I'm not really interested in going anywhere else now. Don't know what it is? Maybe the interaction with the locals and the low ke...

What I can't understand is the amount of ex-pats, mainly Brits, who include the desire to get away from the foreigners in their own country as a reason for being in Thailand ! Pot calling the kettle black? OK that's a whole new thread but if anyone wants to open a thread on that subject..... Its the...
