Re: Helicopter

Steve M, To go back onto topic. I don't know where you live on Klong Road or where the helicopters are in relation to your house, however when I was in HH in November at least 2 helicopters started flying an apparent loop about 3/4 pm in the afternoon. They were about 1/2 mile away from my house at ...

Re: wood windows

John,

I had a similar problem and got 2 new windows manufactured and fitted a few weeks before you arrived. (frame was OK) The boss is Aun and he can be contacted on 0832935282. The wood is better quality than we had and it cost 2,400 all in.

Blue Angel - sock lady tip scam

Recently took our 1st time Thailand visitors to the Blue Angel ladyboy cabaret show. The show was OK but during the performance an elderly falang lady, wearing socks who sat in the audience continually jumped off her seat and put 20 baht notes into the bra of the performers during the show. She sat ...

Re: Hua Hin Cooking class !

My wife and I have just returned having taken this class with another couple we were on holiday with. It is fair to describe our cooking skills as basic. Cost was 1500 baht per person and arrangements are still as previously mentioned above. Nathalee was very pleasant, helpful, informative and profe...

Re: Textile shop in Hua Hin

There’s a fantastic curtain (drapes) shop on Soi 56, (which is on the left) just after the railway crossing. The shop has very large plate glass windows and the owners speak reasonable English. Curtains are made to measure and they have a very large selection of material. They make the curtains reas...
