Re: Proof of Income Letter

There is no hard and fast rule about how long any Embassy's confirmation of income letter is valid for. The validity varies from office to office (provincially). Proof of Income Letter

Folks,

If I get a Proof of Income Letter from the British Embassy to support my Retirement Extension renewal, what do HH Immigration recognise as its validity period? i.e If I get the letter in June will they recognise it in September when I renew?

Retirement Extension & Working Oversas

Guys, I've heard a rumour that Immigration may start checking into people on Retirement Extensions that are also working. I don't have any more info than that unfortunately. Now, I can completely understand that being on a Retirement Extension and also working WITHIN THAILAND is probably a massive N...

Re: Picture Framing

We've used the place next to the Soi 88 Railway crossing and have found them to be good for both workmanship and price. Big Boy, thanks for the advice on the picture framer. The guy was brilliant. I wanted my military medals mounted in a display type affair. I showed him exactly how I wanted them a...

Re: Hua Hin Police Traffic Stops

Technically, you don't need an IDL. You are quite legal using your Brit licence but the average cop wouldn't know that. Can't give you the links right now but when I was swotting up on what I needed for my Thai Licence renewal a couple of weeks ago I read a number of times that you can only legally...

I'm just a pup in Hua Hin compared to some you. I've only been here just over 3 years. When I first came here I wa...

Washing Line Pole

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have an idea where I might be able to get a UK style washing line pole (or something similar) for the garden. It can either be steel or pre-formed concrete.

Thanks
