In answer to the OP, I've seen this advertised today:

I have never used them, know nothing about them, but they claim to do what you ask.
Thanks Big Boy. I'll give them a try. I shall report back if it's a go.

British Passport renewal company in Hua Hin?

Hi folks,

I am aware that there are places in both Bangkok and Pattaya that have a British Passport renewal service. Does anyone know if there is a company in Hua Hin that does this? If so who, and what were your experiences with them?

Re: Retirement Visa Extension

Some offices have been allowing extensions to be done up to 45 days early for a while now but I'm not sure if HH is one of them. If it makes a big difference to the OP (ie traveling), it's probably worth asking the question. Yes, yesterday the photocopy lady at HH immigration by the palace told me ...

Nissan Dealership Hua Hin - A Word of Caution

HH Forum Readers, Just a word of caution regards the Nissan Dealership in HH. Although I haven't been on the tools for a little over 20 years, I am a Mechanic by trade and therefore am quite sceptical when other mechanics give me a diagnosis of what might be wrong with my car. After a visit to Nissa...

Heavy Duty Textile Repair

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a textile repair shop in HH? I have a bag I need repairing so it needs to be a fairly heavy duty repair.

Consular Letter Confirming Pension/Income for Retirement Visa

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have the above in Word format so that I can complete/amend and save on my desktop?

The one on the Brit Embassy website is in PDF so I can't fill in. And before anyone says to convert it, I'll have you know I've only just learnt to tie my shoe laces...!!!

Thanks in advance.

Re: Proof of Income Letter

There is no hard and fast rule about how long any Embassy's confirmation of income letter is valid for. The validity varies from office to office (provincially). Annual extensions can be applied for within the last 30 days of any permitted to stay period with a Non Imm O or OA visa to back that up....

Proof of Income Letter

Folks,

If I get a Proof of Income Letter from the British Embassy to support my Retirement Extension renewal, what do HH Immigration recognise as its validity period? i.e If I get the letter in June will they recognise it in September when I renew?

Retirement Extension & Working Oversas

Guys, I've heard a rumour that Immigration may start checking into people on Retirement Extensions that are also working. I don't have any more info than that unfortunately. Now, I can completely understand that being on a Retirement Extension and also working WITHIN THAILAND is probably a massive N...

Re: Picture Framing

We've used the place next to the Soi 88 Railway crossing and have found them to be good for both workmanship and price. Big Boy, thanks for the advice on the picture framer. The guy was brilliant. I wanted my military medals mounted in a display type affair. I showed him exactly how I wanted them a...
