Re: Songkran in Hua Hin

I've done a few songkrans, and here's my game plan: Out the door at 10:00--mainly little kids and families are out at this time. Cruise around until around 12, then find a good place for lunch. Continue on until about 15:00 and get the hell off the roads. Starting at about 13:00 you notice the kids ...

Re: Sin Sot or silly sod?

It really depends on him, their relationship, and his personal wealth....without knowing that it's impossible to say. I paid for our wedding, reception, etc. I paid a nice bride price (But not as much as your friend) All our money is and always has been in joint accounts (Except for the moment--it's...

Re: New Helicopters for Royal Family

The funny for me is that the people lumping all Thais together as being useless tend to be the same ones screaming "Racism" every time they're not treated with respect.....don't know the posters involved yet, but it'll be interesting to see if this holds true....

Re: British English

As incorrect as it may be(And it is COMPLETELY incorrect) I'd rather hear of Children going up in the treehouse than children going dowin in the treehouse......

and to clarify: In Yanklish "Do you want out" would imply out of a particular situation, not a locational issue.

Thanks.....know the Kids and quieter seem contradictory....god knows our little terror isn't the quietest churchmouse in the world--I'm thinking quiet as in bars, nightlife, etc. obviously I know it's not legal to gag the little angels (Excepting for certain German tourists in Pattaya)
