I'm asking forum users if they consider it's worth raising a voice, whether if it has any direct/immediate effect or not.
If so then it's worth sharing the petition.
Pissing into the wind can have negative impact. I don't think this does.

Re: Understanding Thai society and behaviour
The article wouldn't open on my laptop. Maybe it's because I have windows 7 or maybe it's been blocked by someone who doesn't want anyone to know the truth about Thais and Thai society or maybe ? You can also read it here (a well-intentioned farcebook page that's fairly full of arrogant racist comm...

Understanding Thai society and behaviour
I'm not sure if this has been posted here before. By Suntaree Komin 1991 Thai Fulbright Scholar The Thai value systems, derived from the empirical data from two national samples conducted by Suntaree Komin, which show a remarkable overall consistency overtime and across groups, have provided some hi...

Petition to stop under age children to drive to school in cars or big bikes in Thailand.
I'm asking a question of forum users, is this petition worthy of support? I'm not asking if it will have any effect. It's to the Minister of Education asking education in schools in city areas (not rural) to try to prevent under-aged children from riding motorbikes and driving cars to school. It see...

Re: TV series worth downloading
Just finished the second series of Doctor Foster (BBC drama, 5 eps.) It's necessary to watch the first series first.
I'm drained, it was so good. It's a tragedy in the true sense of the word, and I think the acting of the main characters is stellar if harrowing at times.

Re: Snakes in the house and garden
We found this poor fella in my friend's garden hanging from the side of a floor lamp after they came back from months away. I think Golden Tree Snake but I'm no expert. Looked like possibly he got himself stuck between the forked stick decoration on the lamp and sawed himself in half trying to wrigg...

No public announcements, no legal fine/penalty mentioned. So probably just a 'request' for the period of the cremation.

Re: Gutter service
If you make the decision to use metal guttering such as stainless or gal and are looking for long term durability you may need to check with the supplier/installer that all materials/brackets/fasteners they are using in the assembly are galvanically compatable to avoid premature corrosion issues. A...

Re: Smoking ban on Hua Hin and Thai beaches, jail time for offenders
They really need to look at what the currents are bringing down the coast from the Chao Praya, as well as the brand mark on the filters. I have a sneaky feeling many will be Zhonghua, Zhongnanhai or Lesser Panda, assuming that is that Cha Am beaches are popular with Chinese tourists. I saw someone ...

Re: taxi to hua hin return
I didn't try this service but I guess it's run by Nany's restaurant in Soi 88 (the sign is hung in the restaurant). 1600 Baht one way sounds a good price, but I don't know what vehicle(s) they use so worth calling to find out. [Mod edit: image removed. HHF has its own taxi services so are not reall...
