Re: One person in Bank Book
The trouble is having it in my husbands name is'nt good because he is partially sighted and therefore hates doing paperwork of any kind and usually leaves it to me. Well I'll have to see what happens on the 7th and take the old bank book in as well to prove that the 800,000 has been in the bank for ...

Re: One person in Bank Book
As far as I could make out though only 800,000 THB is needed for the one account. at least we have'nt got the have 2 single account with that amount in each, I suppose that is one saving grace.

Re: Girly questions - is it safe..
Hi there, after trying many salons in Hua Hin I have short hair and have it dyed blonde. I used to have hi-lights but gave it up as a bad job. The hairdresser I have used for the last 2 years is Elle which is near The Baguette Shop near the King's Palace, the girl who cuts my hair is called Lec, ver...

Egypt Air
Has anyone on here ever flown with Egypt Air? Looking to visit family in the UK in a couple of months and so far they are the cheapest. If anyone out there knows of any other low cost airline or offers I'd be grateful if you'd let me know. I usually fly with Qatar or Ethiad but they are so expensive...

Can anyone tell me what they think of it and whether there are any other alternatives in town. Too many fried noodles lately and too hot to walk around, so something drastic needs to be done.

Re: Stinging Armpits
Funnily enough I was in the pharmacy with the very same problem today, the man gave me Starda B cream cost 90baht to put on 3 times a day and what a relief. Don't know what caused it, maybe the swimming pool or maybe deodourant. But whatever it was it was driving me crazy.

Your sad loss
Sarge, I am so sorry to hear your sad news, like others when I opened this thread I thought that she was arriving to spend some time with you.
She sounds as though she was a wonderful woman and you were very lucky to have had her as a sister.
My prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

Half naked Farangs
Just an observation, today went into town and was shocked to see lots of people wandering round town, men with no shirt and women in bikini tops, I think they obviously have no respect for the country they are visiting, I said to a Thai lady at the time, the police should fine them all 100 baht each...

I am in my 7th year of living in Hua Hin. When I first moved here for the first 3 months is was like an extended holiday, the next 6 months, if I could have got on a plane and headed home I would have done. Then I happened to have to go back to the UK for 3 weeks and as soon as I returned I said to ...

Electric Bills Direct Debit
Hi all, could anyone tell me if it is possible and if it is how to go about paying my electric bill by direct debit, I have to go away for 5 weeks and although my neighbour would do it if I asked, they have enough on their plate with a family and elderly parent to look after. I don't want to go away...
