Re: Football (not Premier League)
They stole him from Plymouth mid way through the season, but he never performed as well as he had been at Plymouth. A defeat against Plymouth would have been the final nail. Stoke are not known for their patience with underperforming managers.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
I was devastated when I saw the result in my hotel room. It was one I really wanted to see 3 points from. It had been suggested Schumacher would have been sacked if Plymouth had won.

Re: Thai Football 2023/24
Yes, Ratchaburi were without their suspended centre-forward, and Buriram soon put 2 more of their forwards into hospital, literally. They tried to get a 3rd, but failed - I hope Ratchaburi were insured :D . Fairplay, Ratchaburi got their own back, and things were pretty even on the violence front by...

Re: FA Cup 2025
It is a HUGE issue if you are a smaller club - many smaller clubs are telling the FA what they think of the decision, publicly. Having said that, it looks as though much of the criticism (official statements) by football clubs on social media has been taken down - probably forced by the FA. If a BIG...

I'm not at all bothered by the aroma. Like most, tap water is for cleaning, not drinking.

FA Cup 2025
The recent rule change has upset a lot of real football clubs in England whilst the FA ponder to the Elite. We had a discussion on here this season about the advantages of a good FA Cup run to smaller clubs. The new rules extinguish many of those advantages. So again, the Elite get their way, whilst...

Re: Thai Football 2023/24
Yes, quite a lot, but it was requested, so I try to populate it. I follow the results anyway, so no hardship. However, I do get the occasional question, so I know somebody shows an interest. I actually find it amazing that we have so many football supporters on this forum, but all of the armchair va...

Re: Hua Hin water shortage
Has anybody else noticed the different smell of water since Songkran? My daughter (doesn't live at my house) mentioned it a couple of days ago. She doesn't have a tank, and says the (she thinks its chlorine) smell is very strong. We have a massive tank, but the smell is gradually becoming more promi...

Re: Best long-term "unlimited" internet SIM deals
Yes, but if you read back through this thread you will see how much more you are paying than me, and I receive unlimited phone calls and almost unlimited high speed Internet for my money (from memory, about 1/3rd of what you are paying).

Re: Best long-term "unlimited" internet SIM deals
After a lot of huffing and puffing on my part, I walked into AIS last year and renewed for about 3฿ than the previous year. I will obviously watch to see how you go, but I hope to renew again this year.
