Retirement Visa Extensions ... (Again!!)

I'm a Canadian and have lived in Hua Hin for 11 years, first on a O-A Retirement Visa, then after that 10 years of Extensions. (My Extension 'date' is Sept 14.) My option regarding the "income" part of the Extension paperwork has always been the Letter of Income certified by the Canadian E...

Re: New tip for pool cue

The post above is rather old, but just yesterday I walked up and down Soi 88 looking for Master Cue ... I also needed a good cue tip job. Got nowhere by looking but popped into a bar which had a pool table in the back and asked the bartender about Master Cue. She pointed directly across the street a...

Canadian here ... I've lived in HH for ten years. Be happy to talk to you about HH via this message board's PM feature if you wish.

OK thanks for that. The BluPort Imm does certain extentions, but not all varieties.
Good to know.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

I am under the impression that the BluPort Imm office handles only 90 Day and Re Entry stamp. All Extentions must be given at the main office. Hope I'm not giving wrong information here . . . but it was certainly the case last November. But things change on the fly with Thai Imm and I'll be finding ...

Good quality doors ...

After living in HH for some years we've finally bitten the bullet and purchased a home. The place is perfect for us regarding location, and it's had a very good renovation about 5 years ago. But the sliding doors on both the main entrance way and the upstairs bedroom opening onto the patio are cheap...

Re: Alcohol ban on Hua Hin and Thai beaches?

As of today (03 Nov/17) booze is flowing copiously at Hua Hin Beach (the Umbrellas @ Hilton area).
Mr Bee, the owner of the consession I'm lolling around at ~ sipping Leo yai ~ knows nothing about booze bans.

" ... as opposed to an endless stream of Farangs arriving with incorrect paperwork and bad attitudes at the main office! ... " You hit that nail on the head. No doubt in my mind that the main cause of long waits at the regular Imm office is farangs filling in wrong forms, forgetting a nee...

Snooker cue tip repair ...

Hope someone knows where I might find a person in HH who is excellent at replacing worn out cue tips?
I admit to being useless and frustrated at this (I've tried!) tiresome job.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

It's quite surprising to me that people were skeptical about it, since I said that Blueport itself was supposed to be doing extensions and provided even a link. Glad you don't have to go too far. However, please lets not get too precious about it. Originally the BluPort office on first opening did ...

Well well there's the answer to Kangaroo's question. Looks like tourist visa extensions are provided at BluPort.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration office at Bluport

Yes, they still have a photo business going on. It's probably not a bad idea I suppose given that huge numbers of farang always forget photos, as they also do with getting the forms straight. My opinion ( not scientific  ) is that about 70% of the long queues are because of farang screwing up ...
