I think BB have control of the Thailand issue, the problem was the flight to Thailand, which I don´t think will be a problem to, but let´s hear how it´s going.

Re: Travel Without Visa
In my understanding, you don´t need a visa to go to Thailand if you are comming as a tourist, so the airline can not refuse him without a visa and a one-way ticket. I came here 2 years ago without a visa, and no return ticket, no problem. Ok I only got 30 days visa at arrivel, but that´s not your c...

Re: Travel Without Visa
I´m not sure I understand this correct, but you are saying: Assuming the worse, the key part of the CoI is to enter Thailand using it. As a workaround, he could use his British passport at check-in, and not produce the CoI until he arrives in Thailand. OK, plan B works until we remember that he is t...

Re: Costs for taxi from Suvarnabhumi to Huan Hin
Lev, This is right. I have been made a lot of comments on transport cost, because I think it´s unfair that "agents" is taking half of the cost. What I´m sayig is true, this driver only got 1300, and not 85%, as you are stating. I can understand that you think it´s not worth the hassle to ...

Re: Costs for taxi from Suvarnabhumi to Huan Hin
Leo, you were pulled up because a large percentage of your posts were plugging a taxi service, we concluded that you had something to do with it - this conclusion would be made for any member consistently pushing the same service. For the record we have our own taxi service and we, the agent, take ...

Re: Costs for taxi from Suvarnabhumi to Huan Hin
If you cut out the taxi stands and get a hold of a taxi directly it can cost 1200 to bkk from hh or 1500 to hh from bkk. Once you have found someone you are comfortable with this can be your cheapest option. I have a guy that is always early, drives very well and is very polite . I know some will s...

Me too, 1800, why pay more, if it´s a safe driver. Leoadvocate wrote:I normally pay 1800-2000 Bt including tip.

Re: 6 month rental house with pool wanted
I dont think soi 102 has had bad flooding for a long time now, they installed big drains about 5 years ago in front of Country homes - remember pictures on here of army guys in boats in that area! They have just reopened the U turn before teh flyover/underpass for soi 102 - maybe temporary as its d...

Re: mother and 4 kittens on the roof...
Drown them, a 25 kilo rice sack should do it with a lump of cat food inside it, that will get the mum in and then put the kittens in once mum is out of the way. Gather a few large stones to weigh the bag down. If you are lucky enough to have a car throw them in the boot and then turn the radio up a...
