Hi ,
It's the Grand National today, will it be shown on any of the TV channels here in Hua Hin? If not what's the chances of it being shown in some of the bars downtown, maybe Billy's Bar?
Thanks in anticipation of any helpful replies!

Re: connecting to wireless networks?
Well I chickened out of resetting the password  I'm afraid the thought of having no internet connection at all, and the hassle of sorting it out if it all went wrong was too much for me! Who needs all this modern confusing technology anyway? :duck: I don't remember life being that bad be...

Re: Chang Beer
I go for chang every time and certainly enjoy a bottle or three most days, but sometimes my counting is not very good :naughty: One of the many things I like about chang beer is the lack of a hangover the next day  Back in the UK I used to suffer from bad hangovers from most beers, or any alc...

Thanks for all the help and tips on resetting the password.

Thanks again

Re: connecting to wireless networks?
I have a wi-fi (Dlink router) but unfortunately I do not remember the password so can't use it. I can with cable connections of course.
Is there some way that I can reset the password without knowing the existing one?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: International Call Access Numbers
Hi Big Boy, Further to my post regarding the 1 baht per minute for international calls. My wife bought the True Move pre pay sim (249 Baht) in Market Village up on the top floor. I'm not sure which particular stall/shop. On the packaging in big writing it states, "INTER SIM" although I und...

Re: International Call Access Numbers
My wife bought a pre pay sim (true move) for 249 baht and it gives international calls to UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and many others for 1 (one) Baht per minute  She has to enter 00600 before the international code i.e. UK would be 00600 44 .... This is the cost to land lines AND to mobiles ...

Re: Panthip Plaza Bangkok - The Computer Zone
This is one of my favourite places (Pantip Plaza) when we're spending time in Bangkok. As well as getting good prices for ink etc. I love sitting watching the world go by. At the restaurant on the 2nd floor, if you get a seat overlooking the ground floor etc it's a great viewing position where you c...

Re: Electricity and water bills
Thanks icebear, Can you just clarify, are your directions coming from the North i.e. Cha-Am/Bangkok or from the South i.e Khao Takiab/Pranburi?
Also is there a name above the shop/place to help?
Thanks
Don

Hi, Thanks for all your helpful replies :thumb: and also thanks for the not so helpful replies, although some of them were quite amusing  The good news is the little lady (well not so little by Thai standards! :duck: ) ........ I've just been told to update that to read, "The nicely prop...

Electricity and water bills
Hi apologies if this has been covered previously and I'm sure it probably has - but I can't narrow the search down below 751 possibilities  :cuss: Anyway, I'm keeping an eye on a friends place and there is an electricity bill and a water bill to be paid. I went along to the 7/11 and they told ...

Re: Backyard Steak Restaurant
We went to the Backyard Steak Restaurant earlier this week and once again it could not be faulted. :thumb: We have been there perhaps 6 or 7 times now and never had any problems. The staff are always friendly and attentive. :D The restaurant itself is very clean, and the variety of food is excellent...

Re: Sargent hospitalized
Hi Sarge, Pleased to hear you appear to be picking up. I also believe you have not been drinking much beer in recent times :? Are you sure that wasn't the reason for your scare, anyway, I'm taking no chances and will now increase my chang intake accordingly!    Please ...
