Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

This is the coldest I've ever felt it along any coast here. Different up north but this is not up north. Every Thai I've talked to since Christmas says the same thing. It was 13c early this morning per my thermometer and now at almost 2000 it's down to 18c. The coldest in my area is the hour before...

Re: Nightlife

Don't get too expectant about the night crawlers page, it is pretty tame. If you are looking for info about where to go to meet attractive hireable girls, it changes from week to week. All you need to know is that they are here and as every bodies choice is personal, just cruise the area. Hireable ...

You must be joking - the layout was good enough for the Asian Tour to have a competition on it today - enough said !!!!

Dolphin Bay near Pranburi has no green fees and would be a good place to start and other can direct you.

Re: The Digital Surgery

I do not understand Richard why you have to go the HP route, when there are other and better options IMO, as regards Windows 7 or 8 I would not hestitate in choosing 7 unless you are up with the latest IT -ware. Most of us are of an age when it is often better to take the easy option. We use our com...

Re: Best Instant Coffee available in Hua Hin

I went to Bon Cafe this morning and purchased their freeze dried Brazilian Gold - excellent taste, but then I much prefer Arabica coffee as against Robusta. The location is not the easiest to find and road construction also taking place in the vacinity, however they have opened a cafe outside the ne...

Re: Best Instant Coffee available in Hua Hin

As the OP I have tried Moccona Royal Gold and frankly did not find that it had a strong coffee taste, more a creamy one.
So Bon Cafe here we come!

Re: Best Instant Coffee available in Hua Hin

I consider myself a true coffee lover and drink only Boncafe instant Coffee. It is much better than any other brand I have tried, quite as goog as Lavazza and Segafredo. Boncafe has a shop in HH, off the 94th. http://www.boncafe.co.th/en/contact-us/branches/ Wherever I go, I'll bring my Boncafe Ins...

Best Instant Coffee available in Hua Hin

I am not a great coffee fan but it would be nice to find a very good instant coffee brand in Hua Hin - anybody with a good recommendation and supplier please?
I appreciate it does not compare to 'real' coffee but when I google this question the best names I have never seen.

Hua Hin Fireworks Dec 21st 2013

I would like to take my wife out to a restaurant on the beach to see the firework display this Saturday. I think it will be too crowded in town so I thought somewhere on the north side of town out towards Palm Hills ( maybe not so far) anyway just nice Thai food with a restaurant stretching onto the...

Re: The Digital Surgery

Just a comment. The uninstall capability provided by Microsoft leaves a lot of (probably harmless) garbage on your system in the registry and other areas taking up space. A better uninstaller like Revo uninstaller can get rid of this leftover stuff, but you need to be careful using it or you may de...
