To Thistle.
I have no idea what you are trying to say or what point you are trying to make.

Re: Tourist shamed for refusing to take 'smelly' feet off seat

There really are some idiot tourists that visit Thailand and give the rest of us a bad reputation. The young man is an army reservist and doesn't have the balls to take a stance against this rude girl. It is good to be polite but there is also a time when you have to take no shit.

Re: Golf Rules - Questions and Answers

Not quite as common nowadays, but nearly all pro's clubs used to have lead tape attached to the back. This tape is specifically meant to change the clubs performance, but this is legal.

Re: Emirates flight charges to BKK

Tried all the airlines flying back to the UK. Can't really complain about any of them but always feel like the leg room is not enough for me because I am 6 foot tall. Just can't justify paying for a business class ticket and find the economy deluxe is marginally better but costs double. Flew EVA Air...

Re: Rip Off Hua Hin

Why do people who hate Thailand and the Thai people stay here?? Yes land is expensive in town but 15 or 20 minutes outside town you can buy 1 rai for about 400 000 baht. The cost of local fruits, veggies, meats, eggs and rice is really cheap. Buying or building houses is cheap compared to other part...

Re: Soi 102 Vacating?

Many of these houses you are looking at will sit empty for ages. They are better to accept 12000 per month than be empty. Are you just looking in the estate agents? I see most of these rentals overpriced. Better chance of getting a deal by driving around and talking with the Thais. They usually have...

Re: So... I'm Moving Back to England

UK is a great place to live. Thailand is also a great place to live. Good luck to those who decide to leave Thailand because they don't like it anymore. What I don't understand is those who choose to stay here but constantly complain about Thai people not liking them. Maybe it is because you are alw...

Re: Swede found shot dead in Cha-am home

Shocking incident but does happen way too often. James West is spot on - never get into it with the Thais because killing over an argument seems to be acceptable. The murder at the market last week, the British family badly beaten at Songkran and now this, plus many more over the years.

Re: Market manager shooter arrested by Hua Hin police

This is one of the most disturbing things that happens surprisingly regularly in Thailand. When Thais get into conflict and lose face they can decide that the best thing to do is kill. All farangs who live here and visit here need to be aware of this and never get into conflict with Thai people, no ...

Re: Hua Hin golf course update

Both Springfield and Lakeview are in good condition. Drought not an issue now as has been enough rain to get the grass growing again. Will take a while to fill up the lakes again. You should play them both.

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

My wife told me that the King is trying to help farmers to dig lakes to catch more water. Certainly needed. Cost of hiring a digger and dump trucks is high if you don't have a good market for selling the soil.

Re: Which golf club best for membership????

Being a member at a club here is not the same as being a member in other countries. It just gives you the right to play golf for free but doesn't actually treat you like a member. You are welcome when the course is quiet but Dec to Feb they try to find ways to make it difficult because they want the...
