What is a “footie” ?

10 years ago my wife and I renewed our Non-OA visa’s using a joint account, but it had to have a balance of at least 1.6 million baht (800,000 for each person). We only did that once, then we learned of the Embassy income affidavit method and switched to that for 3 years until that option went away....

I did this years ago when I lived in Alaska. As others have mentioned, the cold water doomed the experiment. I considered putting in a small tank to allow the water to warm to room temperature but space was a limiting factor and I never installed it.

I just watched the 9th and 10th planes flying low over Wat Khao Yai area, looks to me like they are C-17 aircraft, no visible markings. They come by in pairs, each pair a few minutes behind the previous pair.
