Re: Credit where credit is due - Big Kiang

My experience of Big Kiang has always been good. Recently they have 'upped the anti' to excellent. I had bought numerous items, and wanted something they had in stock changed to dimensions that I needed. 'Khun Oi' was on the phone immediately talking to the factory in hand....when the item arrived i...

Having shopped around a little, I have come to the conclusion that they are hellishly expensive!! Typically... 3 door~38,000... 2 door~25,000....ouch! Does anyone know of a...

This is hilarious!!! http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/social/437671/thais-agree-to-foreign-observers “The British and Myanmar governments are ready to send a team of observers to monitor the process and the police chief said he was willing to accept,” Mr Sek said. Re: Tourists murdered on Koh Tao

Bristolian...An interesting article from the Telegraph indeed..... Quote.... Following the arrests last Friday, PBS, Thailand’s state-run broadcaster, claimed that Mark Kent, the British ambassador in Bangkok, had praised how the country’s police had “shown exemplary professionalism as a crime fight...

Re: VCR to DVD

My plan was to connect this VCR to a DVD player (a DVD player that can record of course)....and Hey presto job done. Unfortunately, my VCR is toasted, so I wondered if there was anywhere in H...

Re: What To Do In Case Of A Road Traffic Accident

It is possible to buy what are essentially small video cameras that record your journey whilst driving.(storage is on some sort of flash drive) A friend of mine has one, and he always takes it with him while driving. The devices attach to your windscreen much in the same way that a GPS device does.....

Re: Tourists murdered on Koh Tao

You will have the answer in less than 30 mins.....simple!

Re: Development Of English Skills Towards The ASEAN Communit

Couldn't agree with you more, DM. Dressing in national costumes and making boards with stuff copied from the Internet is pretty, but not practical. This kind of activity is also popular at universities. I would love my students to spend a tenth of the time that they spent on cutting up bits of poly...

Re: Windows 9

hhinner......totally agree.
Win 8/8.1 is great in my experience, exactly the same, only faster than 7, as you say.
The fact that it caters for both tablets and laptops/desktops at the same time seems to go unnoticed.
A shame people can't grasp that one.
Oh well.... :banghead: :banghead:
