Re: (Don't) Wear a Mask Debate
Masks in the covid setting serve 2 purposes, they reduce the distance of particle travel and give a feeling of security to the wearers, whether that is they may not become infected or spread infection. Re: Flying into Thailand, latest updates
The most current statement I can find. The relaxation will cover migrant workers in the construction business and food export industry, foreign visitors who co-organise trade exhibitions, foreign visitors in film production crews, and foreign travellers who are members of the Thailand Elite Card sch...

Re: GM to withdraw from Thailand this year
Hi All
Just a thought, Thailand has a free trade agreement of sorts with China, and GM sell more cars there than in the US with over 20 plants. There may be some room for movement within that agreement.

Re: Confused about VISA (like many others)
Hi
You could just get a 60 day Tourist Visa in your home country and then if you wish to you could then extent that by 30 for 1900 baht when in country. That would give you the requisite time.

Re: Problem ringing the UK today
Hi All
Called my family in UK yesterday same problem with instant engaged tone.
Used whatsapp and no problem.
My family checked their line with another family member in the UK and no problems.
Judging by the speed of the engaged tone cutting in I would say a problem on the Thai side.
Regards.

Re: Monsoon Valley entrance charge
Personally to me it is an unofficial means test that I have been subjected to in many countries as well as official means testing in the UK to see how big my speeding fine should be or how much I had to pay for my parents care. The difference being it is optional you do not have to pay it. So no not...

Re: Indian restaurants in Hua Hin
We have eaten at the Royal indian before and it is to my taste. Also there were two Indian families in there staying at the Centara and we had a chat and they ate there several times and obviously enjoyed it.
