Re: Kims Kitchen
Yes, he owns the Romantic Bar on Binta, nice guy. I like the place but I have to say the old staff were a bit miserable and prone to getting the order wrong. They never ever smiled, no matter how often you went in there and even when you left a tip. But I hope they have found other work. The older l...

Re: Liver
Angies Bistro def gets my vote for her liver dish, absolutely spot on. In fact never had a bad meal in there. Not noticed any women or heavy drinkers in there? mainly couples when we have visited,

Re: 3 months in Ao Manao - PrachuapKhiri Khan need accomodat
Agree the Sun Beach is/was an excellent place but take a look at the most recent reviews on Trip Adviser which point to a rather nasty twist Was about to book but may reconsider. Certainly the owner was very affable and friendly when we stayed there but he was getting stressed about the problems wit...

Thanks for the reply. Would you know anywhere in Hua Hin that sells them. I did look last year but did not see any although we dont have transport and could only look on the main drags.

Is there any where in Hua Hin where I could buy a 'flat pack' spirit house and send back to the UK. Had a search on ebay UK and cannot find anything.

Re: New Indian Soi 80 / Railway Road
Sorry to upset the regulars but I can only call it as it was on the day for us. But just to clarify any doubts: Fact: The noise from the Thai party was not meant as a critiicism. Obviously the restaurant could do nothing about it although they did apologise (not necessary) Fact: It was just before 8...

Indian top Soi 80
After reading all the good reports on this restaurant I was looking forward to our visit on New Years Eve. Unfortunately this first visit had to be abandoned due to party going on in the tailors sweat shop just opposite - the noise was LOUD - no fault of the restaurant. We went back the following ev...

Re: Absolute best german food in town
No need to keep it quiet. Thought we would try last night (around 8pm) and it was deserted other than a few young kids playing around the tables. Walked up to Kims Kitchen which was busy. Indian was also pretty busy.

Re: Whats up with the breakfast scene here? Any suggestions?
Agree in general the breakfasts in Lynns are very good but we stopped going there because the bread they use for toast and bacon sandwiches etc is very sweet and definately detracts from the taste of the food. Never found the same tasting bread anywhere else and we migrated to Kims Kitchen for our f...

Re Macro
Just a couple of questions please, we are in Hua Hin for couple of months and would like to stock up at Macro. Do I need a card or do I just go in and start shopping? Would hate to get to till and find I need a card. Secondly do they take UK credit cards or would I be better with cash?
Thanks
