If you are going to use a laptop for anything other than email and programming get a mac .Much more powerful,easier to use and reliable .3 years warranty which I have only had to use once in the last 10 due to a power surge .Every pc I have owned played up at least once a year .

I doubt you could walk 100m along any inhabited beach in the world and find less after tide change .
