That's crazy and against the rules. i.e.
"3.4 A medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected by RT-PCR method, within 72 hours before departure."
Edit: Sorry, you're talking about Cambodia. The above rule is for Thailand.

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/Updates - Hua Hin
In MV yesterday. I was wearing a mask but the guy at the main entrance just waved me in without getting up from his chair.

A shame that isn't the situation in the west. I've noticed my 3 year old granddaughter when going out, puts on her shoes and mask without any prompting. She'll probably grow up thinking it's normal attire!!It's second nature for them now.

It's never too late!"If I had come up with what I’m saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized," he explained to Yediot.

Re: 18K Gold Jewelry
Most gold shops are genuine. They will have the buying and selling price which is pretty much the same in all the shops. 18 Karat gold is more difficult to come by as most Thai gold is 23K (96.5%) or 22K (91.6%) Thank you for replying, I'm aware of the Thai Gold shops. That gold is in IMO to soft a...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
Just checked with my daughter. In the US, after testing positive, the US doctor entered it into her passport. Somehow, which is not clear, the Thai Embassy knew she'd had Covid and told her she'd need two negative tests. I can only assume that the US informed the Thai Embassy. Alternatively, she may...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
If Thais have had Covid whilst out of the country, they have to get two negative tests 2 weeks apart before they're allowed to fly. Otherwise it's just a doctors certificate stating that you have no visible symptoms. It would be interesting to identify how many of these returnees have had Covid and ...

I've been with BKK bank for 20 years and always found them helpful. I've never used the sub-branch in Bluport but I agree with BB that the one next to MV gives an excellent and very helpful service. Regarding TW, I usually have the money in the bank (Bangkok Bank) within a couple of hours. The best ...

Re: Govt approves 120km/h speed limit
Motorways are already at 120. With one of the restrictions for the new limit of 120 on rural roads is that roads must not have ground level U-turns, then I can't see much in the way of change.

The UK is the first country to approve the Pfizer vaccine. The first doses are to arrive in the next few days. 40 million doses have been ordered, 10 million expected to arrive this year. Of course the priority is for the most vulnerable first. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/pfizer-biontech-c...

At this rate, it's another Vietnam waiting to happen. It took just one in Da Nang and just a few weeks later, infections and deaths went up after no activity for around 100 days.
It only takes one!

The national speed limit was reduced from 110 to 90 some years ago. I think it was when oil prices were going through the roof.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
But that's the point. The governor and his officials decided to keep the permanent crossing (Friendship Bridge) open because closing it would have affected trade. I wouldn't have thought he had the authority to do that thereby overriding governments restrictions. Of course, the border is extremely p...
