Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
My family tried with mine earlier, but it wouldn't accept. Also, when you say it wouldn't accept do you mean you got an error message when submitting the form, or when you tried to check by entering the id number again. The latter is what got me (see earlier in this thread), but when I downloaded a...

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
As I said on the other thread (tail, dog) it might be worth trying with the actual app. Did you get your wife registered?Big Boy wrote:My family tried with mine earlier, but it wouldn't accept.

Re: Thailand IT - Tail Wagging the Dog
It seems I am registered. I just now used the หมอพร้อม app. It's much easier than the crappy Google docs form that the website points to. So recommend downloading and using that. It also allows to make vaccination appointment, but the message comes back that the hospital isn't ready to make appointm...

Re: Thailand IT - Tail Wagging the Dog
Like I said on the vaccine thread, I was able to check my wife's. And then I did mine. Though when I checked mine again this evening it said invalid id number. But now there's a BP report saying pink card holders can use it. [emoji3480]
I'll check again tomorrow.
I'll check again tomorrow.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
From Bangkok Post: As of now, the interface of the Line OA and the mobile app for iOS and Android is Thai-only and accepts only Thai national ID numbers to register. However, foreigners who hold a so-called pink ID card, which includes a Thai ID number, can use the platform. Thanks, maybe I'll try ...

Got discarded, not a valid id number. [emoji22]hhinner wrote:One of 2 things can happen. I get the vaccine or I don't (in which case I join the farang queue).
I wonder if naturalized citizens will have the same problem or does actual validation occur.
Oh well, maybe by Christmas. [emoji40]

Re: The Digital Surgery (computer questions/problems here)
It downloads OK, but when I try to install, a couple of warnings pop up telling me of a threat. I've tried both clean and ignore, but get the same result. Access.png That's not a threat warning, it's just an access denied due to not having the right permissions for file or folder (or zip file in th...

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
Anyway, I have my 2nd (AZ) jab tomorrow. I wasn't very well after the first, but I'm not sure whether that was just a coincidence. Either way, I'm keen to get it done and for every other bugger to get it done too, so that we can get back to some semblance of normality and start talking about the we...

Re: E-books and e-book readers
Some kindle books are limited geographically due to copyright and/or licensing restrictions. Computer, tablet, phone, kindle device should all be the same. If not maybe raise a case with amazon, or use a VPN. Other than geolocation it may also depend on where you're registered as living, as opposed ...

Re: Thailand IT - Tail Wagging the Dog
Many, but not all. My wife was told she was the first, but putting her ID Card into the output from the first QR Code shows nothing. So it is not very reassuring. Did her registration work? Does she need to do it again? These are old, vulnerable people. They shouldn't have to rely upon QR Codes, an...

Yes, I might get as far as showing my pink id card. But nowhere did the form ask if I was a Thai citizen.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
I used the QR code from https://huahinforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=39825&start=15#p531735 to check my wife's registration done a month ago by the hospital. That was OK. Then I checked mine (13 digit id needed from Fabien baan or id card). That got a not registered response with a link to t...
