Re: I'm a total mug
I agree with Kendo - jump on a plane. As for 'repercussions' in the UK I assume you mean of the legal kind? Others might know more about that but if your marriage wasn't formalised at the Embassy I wouldn't have thought there is anything to worry about. :agree: As far as I know marriages in Thailan...

I am not 100% sure but maybe the kitesurfing school may have some folks your age. Perhaps someone else can chime in on that? There are a couple universities around but not sure where the students hang out at.

Re: Uber-X taxi service in Thailand
Arlo, there is a preference within the app to add your credit-card and thus adding another advantage as you have elaborated. It was the first time I used the app so happy to have the option to pay cash. https://www.uber.com/cities/ Have check Hua Hin in the Uber 'city-finder' and it displays "...

Re: Uber-X taxi service in Thailand
Was in Bangkok over the weekend and used my Uber app for the first time. Excellent service! Minimal waiting, no price argument, very efficient (paid cash to the driver). Haven't tried in Hua Hin, anyone know if they have cars here yet? GN. So with uber in Thailand you pay cash? In the stat...

Re: Aggressive owned dog going too far
Carry a stick just in case but also carry some sort of treat. Attempt to make friends with the dog. Toss a snack at it and do that for a while and perhaps the dog will realize you are not an enemy. Dogs have pretty good memories and over a period of time of getting treats the dog may change its atti...

Seems like most of the meetings are closed. Do i read that right closed as in not open to new members being invited. Not at all welcoming for prospective members in need of help?? Re: Sofitel HH afternoon tea ?
I am not knocking you or anyone for having tea. I didn't know exactly what it was so I asked. From what I have been told it just doesn't sound like it's for me. If you had a nice time having tea then that is great. I am not disrespecting you or anyone who chooses to do this. I have no problems spend...
