Was there a meet yesterday? If so, I seemed to have missed you guys. I got to the Shed bar at about 13.40 and the 2 girls behind the bar just didn't get my questions! I know you talked about another meeting place but for the life of me I couldn't remember where? Never mind - I just had Saturday afte...

Adaptor plug

Does anyone know where I can get a UK to thai adaptor plug for shaver, tootbrush & mobile? Voltage not an issue. On the last visit the hotel helped me out but can't rely on that. I tried 7/11 last time with no joy.

Thanks :)

This just shows why this site is so useful!!!

I had wondered if the shed bar had anything to do with Chelsea, and now I've found out about a place that is GF/wife friendly and is owned by a Chelsea fan - paradise!

Its taken me ages to find this thread - I think a few too many beers in the Harrow in Nth Cheam last night with some mates is having a negative effect!!! Now I know its the big birthday bash tonight and I hope everyone has a great night, but Saturday week (6/8) finds me in HH again, are you okay wit...

I'm not offended, what happened was that I was told I couldn't post a message so soon after the 1st one - the poll - so I waited a bit and sent it again and surprise, surprise, the 1st one was there after all! Oh well. Farang owes me a beer for when I'm next in HH!!!

1st visited in 2000, been back 3 times since. I'm pretty well travelled and do you know what it felt like to realise that I had finally found the place I was looking for? I'm not really interested in going anywhere else now. Don't know what it is? Maybe the interaction with the locals and the low ke...

What I can't understand is the amount of ex-pats, mainly Brits, who include the desire to get away from the foreigners in their own country as a reason for being in Thailand ! Pot calling the kettle black? OK that's a whole new thread but if anyone wants to open a thread on that subject..... Its the...

Seems to me that the comments attributed to how Thais view Farangs could be applied to the average Brit in the UK? :|

Seems like the same old th, read has started again? But as I am one of those tempted it's worth listening to the doubters. What I can't find out, is just how many farangs (falangs?) now own houses around Hua Hin? Is it in the 100's or has it reached higher? If this is the case and seemingly more so ...

Cost of living in Hua Hin

I don't know if this is the right section to place this or how many times its been asked in the past? There's a lot of mails on another forum about living in Thailand, but not Hua Hin. So one for the locals: The house is paid for, the car is bought and no high mileage anticipated, there's a wife and...
