@HHTel, I'm curious how you keep your tanks clean...?

Re: Wise formerly Transferwise

I did two large transfers in the past week whilst the exchange rate was 'ok'.

Re: GBP vs THB

Impressed with the Wise savings rates. Recently went from 4.55% up to 4.78% on the USD account.
GBP currently at 4.12%.
Not available in Thailand unfortunately. Should have switched my account to the U.K. a long time ago.

Re: Pilot refuses to land over unfastened seatbelts

I’ve worked and travelled extensively throughout the Middle East and Subcontinent and I’m afraid to say that I saw numerous examples of people ignoring the seatbelt signs on planes - somewhat similar to the “me first” scenario witnessed in Thailand. Seen it countless times in the Middle East. Comin...

Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcycle

My MSX125 indicators have completely perished after sitting in the heat for so long. Anyone have any recommendations for accessories shops selling aftermarket parts?
Cheers,
GN.

I think most are unopened so the whisky may still be ok I'll just have to expect every cork to die upon opening...
Thanks guys.

Re: Whiskeys

I've got a small Whisky collection at the condo which hasn't been touched in a while since I'm 'off-it' just now. A few days ago I had a neighbour visit so I thought I'd crack open a new bottle of GlenGlassaugh. The cork completely disintegrated upon opening and the fragments had to be pushed into t...

TV series worth watching/downloading

^ Everytime I hear of a series called "Swarm" etc. I always get hopeful it's based on Michael Crighton's book Prey (based on a swarm of micro-bots).... Cracking book, but hey-ho  Fantastic book. I’ve read so many great books that I think would make a good film but most don’t see the...

Must be a per capita figure. Same as their fatalities per 100,000.
Interested to know how Thailand ranks by country for road deaths.
