Re: New Ed Visa Rules
Interesting. The next few years will let us know more. North Korea 2.0 here we come. :D Hardly. Most countries insist on a minimum of 16 - 20 hours per week for an ED Visa, increasing the minimum requirement from 4 to 8 hours is hardly any sign of the move towards NK you so frequently refer to on g...

Re: New Ed Visa Rules
^ That rise in price seems very reasonable indeed given the extra learning hours. Our teachers are quite dedicated to us and we have worked out a system for giving "more for less". Bigger class sizes by any chance.  NO. We maintain our 5 -7 students average per cla...

Re: New Ed Visa Rules
Interesting. So, may I ask, how much was the Edvisa course before and how much will it be now? I assume exactly double given the 200 hour requirement being upped to 400. Around 50k maybe? I heard on another forum, someone being turned away at Swampy (with Ed visa), held in the doghouse and told to ...

Re: New Ed Visa Rules
OK, thanks - that qualifies it. Now the question you've probably guessed is coming.......... John is attending class with Ed Visa students. He most probably won't be able to get additional time off work. Does this new ruling mean that he has to drop out of school? I can't see any way that he'll be ...

Re: If you have a heart problem, always check medication
I am 82.. with a triple bypass 19 years ago and since been supplemented with 3 stents. Certainly do not want any help on the path to Nivarna. Age is taking care of that.
Locally, the only heart doctor I trust is Dr Polpat at the Hua Hin Heart Clinic.
