On August 27th I had a flight from BKK at 6pm. I have never seen so many people in the immigration queue, even before Covid. It took me an hour from the beginning of baggage control to the end of passport control. Only every second counter was occupied. Luckily I arrived at the airport early enough.

I arrived in Suvarnabhumi at 5pm yesterday and it looked as empty as it did in Covid times. Upon immigration, I could simply go to one of the many free counters. The 6:30pm bus to Hua Hin was only occupied by 4 passengers. Seems to be very low season now.

I always have it in my passport. Last time I extended my visa for a year, they wanted a copy of it, which they never wanted before.

Anyone have a Chromebook with Chrome OS? My laptop with 4GB Ram and Windows 10 really doesn't work well. I've read that the Chromebook is much faster and even cheaper.

When I am in Bangkok I look for a Kasikorn ATM with cardless withdrawal, using the K-Plus App. Then there are no fees.

I made the same experience. In the Covid time I changed from COD to Debit Card.
