Hi Eddysbay I took a public taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin in November last year. I ask for the price at the public counter in the airport, and was told that the price was 1500 THB. When we start to drive I ask the driver about the price, and he said 2,500 THB. I tell him to put me off, b...

Bamber good for us there are honest people. :thumb: Think we are more people who did strange things during our visit to Thailand. Before I would rent a car, but the contract was only in Thai, my first reaction was it doesn’t matter. Thank God I thought me and find another landlord. Thailand d...

You can buy some great tablets here, I am not sure what they are called, but they come in a mustard yellow blister pack of 10, and are cheap about 30Tb. They are decogesteant and also make you slightly drowsey (only take at night, before sleep, not before a long road trip!), but not strong like a s...

For me, the biggest danger here is long black hair, big dark eyes, and long shapely legs.. They get me in lots more trouble than thieves or muggers! Exactly; you may get robbed here, but it will be with your full knowledge and willing participation... :D Maybe they rob you, maybe they give you some...

It' not the provider, it's the SIM cards, they are diffrent from the same provider.

Now I have a 1-2 call SIM with GPRS, every time i put 100 baht i have 1 mount more limit but max. one eyar. I have this SIM for 3 eyar now, and I uset about 2 times at eyar for one mount.

I agree with you, but in Thailand's case it is a combination of the global recession, the airport closure and the political situation in the country. And I fear that figure will be much higher than 1 million job losses. Much of the money spent in Isaan comes from the tourism industry, and I think th...
