Re: Furniture removal company

Thanks for the recommendations but still a bit stuck with this. Nereus, the number you gave is out of service, VS, the first one said no - wrong number, the second one has a pickup truck.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would be grateful.

Furniture removal company

Does anyone know of a removal company in Hua Hin? I need a 6 wheeler (and a few guys) to transport some household furniture.

Holding students to ransom over their visa is a despicable act, these 'schools' should be named and shamed, they seem to be no more than mafia businesses.

That wouldn't actually surprise me if it really occurred in this town - stranger things have happened!

Hua Hin still is a great place to live and visit. Simply avoid 90% of the expats you meet, the red light district, and the center of town and you'll be fine!

Re: Beach Invasion By Kite Surfers

I have to say that I walked the beach this morning for the first time since before Xmas and there seemed to be fewer schools set up on the beach and definitely far fewer kiteboarders. I think the Hua Hin Taliban nabbed a load of them for work permits. A cordoned off area for them would be good, and...

I am really suprised the tourist police turn a blind eye to this. I'm really surprised the tourist police aren't using it as an excuse to fleece a few baht out of the tourists following the introduction of this this ludicrous law: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=15528

E-Dick was either born with a silver spoon in his mouth or really is living in cloud-cuckoo land - stop having sprogs you expat muppets - you're too poor for the privilege! Victor Bloody Meldrew springs to mind!

I would not be comfortable answering questions about the number of valuable electrical items in the house, leave those blank.

Re: Somtawin ejecting kids with late paying parents

So would it be ok for a hospital to eject a sick patient that is behind on his bill?

Not really seeking opinion - just clarification of whether this is actually happening, potential patrons should be aware.

Somtawin ejecting kids with late paying parents

Two parents with kids at Somtawin English have independently told me that the school has threatened to send their kids home because they are late on fee payments that they were previously allowed to pay monthly. Is it true? If the school is being run like an Italian mafioso business many may have se...

Re: Robotics at Somtawin

So why the bloody hell are you having children in the first place if you can't cobble together enough money for them to have a decent education..... are you thick or what???? Looks like I've touched a nerve with E-dick over there. Who said I have children anyway? So, according to you, only the fina...

Re: Robotics at Somtawin

Who pays 100k+ for an English School, average fees at Somtawin are 89k with big discounts for siblings. It's not always the fees, it's the standard of education and the child's future. OK, 89k +books, +uniforms, +transport, +food, +trips, +extras etc etc etc is well over 100k. I agree that the educ...
