Re: Hua Hin dual-track rail project to go ahead

Don't hold your breath. The tracks aren't even as far North as Soi 55. It's just a torn up mess and looks like a bomb dropped.

Re: Buying online from Lazada

Good Karma, whom I order from in Thailand, has dropped Kerry and uses EMS, I always get my orders in 3 days. iherb, in the US, does the same thing. When they used a private carrier it took 3 weeks to get a package, now I get it in 10-15 days.

Re: Paradise City (it was once called)..

Yeah but there are a hundred new bars near soi 94! Today, while my wife was having her hair cut, I walked up Soi 94, crossed the tracks and was immediately in Tijuana, Mexico, circa 1957. Fat old white men, in t-shirts perched at the front bars, put me in mind of an end-of-the-world, disaster movie...

Re: Paradise City (it was once called)..

To fix all the things wrong in Thailand would require thinking, and that is in short supply. This is the least creative placed I've lived. At best it's still the 1950's.

Re: MRI Scan in Hua Hin

I doubt that very much, look at the link HHTel posted !! Well you need to read what I wrote. Hear are the time details for scanning I have a single scan.. A single scan may take a few seconds or 3 to 8 minutes. You may be asked to hold your breath during short scans. The total scan lasts 15 to 90 m...

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread

When I last did my 90-day report to the young parole officer, I asked her what is the purpose of the report. She looked startled and turned to the older officer who replied, "It's the law." I responded, "Yes, I know it's the law, but what is its purpose?" Again, she answered, &qu...

The article says that they didn't find any. Not the same as there are none.

Re: Thailand tourism situation

Flights are at least twice the price that they were pre-pandemic. The younger generations were hammered financially by the lockdowns, and only a small few still have the money to afford what is now an expensive long haul holiday. Retirees did not feel the economic pressure so much, thanks to their ...

Fri., MV was crowded at around 5 pm. Lots of tourists, appeared to be European, but who knows, all white people look alike.
