Re: Classic Car prices

If Thailand could recognize Classic cars as a duty free import, i.e no import duties on cars over 30 - 40 years old, life would be a lot more interesting. Love my old cars, but in TH seems to be a rich man's hobby only. (unless you have friends in customs!)

Re: Thailand mulls compulsory travel insurance for tourists

The benefits of travel insurance are enormous! The cost is fairly minimal, but if something goes wrong, you need it! A dive trip in Indonesia that went seriously wrong proved that for me and 14 others! Evac back to AUS was only option at cost of $40,000 plus, Glad we all had insurance. :che...

Re: Investing in a massage shop

This thread seems to be straying from the initial idea ! The idea of investing in a massage parlor is what a lot dream about, OP says money is not an issue. Enjoy a daily massage, and after 12 months you may have 365 'happy ' days!
OUCH!!!! :P

Re: Hua Hin Police Traffic Stops

TIT! If you are farang, you are a source of "tea money"! I've seen it in Phucket and Patts where the tourists are. Thai passes no helmet on bikes, Farang pulled over. The ones that argue over a quick pay to move on, find life difficult for rest of stay - TIT, obey the laws even though it s...
